More About Strengths Partner Founder Tina Shaw

If you are checking out this website for the first time, you may be wondering, "Who is Tina R. Shaw, and what can she do for me?"

I am a coach and workplace learning expert who has a passion for helping people develop their talents into strengths. I work with individuals and teams to improve leadership, communication, teamwork and trust, and I help them discover how to use healthy conflict in order to design and implement their desired future and get more of what they want in their lives, and I can help you do that, too.

I have 20+ years experience in learning and development including assessment, program design, facilitation and post-learning follow up to ensure learning transfer. I offer customized learning and development programs for my clients on a variety of topics. I find pairing training with coaching greatly improves each individual learner's experience and their ability to follow through on action goals after training has concluded. Application of learning is the only way to get a return on investment (ROI), and designing coaching into the program is a great way to ensure ROI.

I play in the Organizational Development (OD) space as an independent, and I frequently partner with other OD professionals to serve our clients. If your business is in need of strategic planning, change management, talent management, leadership and team development, coaching, or anything else in the OD world, I can "hook you up" with a solution.

On a more personal note, I think of myself as an optimistic realist who is a life-long learner and loves to "play." If there is fun to be had, I want in! I enjoy looking for what is right with people, rather than what is wrong. I believe in taking what is working well and making it even better. I'm all about continuous improvement! What are you looking to improve in your life or organization? Contact me to learn how I can help.

One final thought... My website is still a work in progress. What would you like to see added? What would you find valuable? I look forward to hearing your suggestions to make it even better!
